Oil Usage and Safety
Note:  The information on this page ONLY applies to Young Living essential oils, which are medicinal, or therapeutic, grade oils.  This list is not all-inclusive, please see a reference guide for more information!
Let’s touch on safety for a minute.  This is important when getting started to keep you and your family safe!  Keep in mind we are not a doctors.  We can help you learn about the oils, but we will NEVER tell you to stop life saving medications.  

ALWAYS!!!....talk to your doctor before stopping ANY medications.

Start slow with the oils.  Citrus oils can cause detox symptoms including headache and nausea and a feeling of being “off” for lack of a better word.  Start with 1 drop twice a day and slowly move up from there.
Make sure to keep the oils away from your eyes and never put oils inside the ear canal.  If you do get the oils in your eyes use a carrier oil to dilute the essential oil, not water.  Water will make it burn more.

If you are pregnant make sure to check with your doctor before using any essential oils.
